This is a really interesting film about how large the universe is and how powers of ten become so drastically distant. 　　It starts out by showing a couple at a picnic in Chicago. It then shows an overhead shot a meter up of the man lying down on the picnic blanket. It then proceeds to zoom out by increasing the distance by a power of ten every ten seconds; 10 to the first meters, 10 to the second meters, 10 to the third meters, and so on. 　　Before long the viewer is above the earth, then the solar system, then the galaxy, then much of the visible universe. The viewer is projected back forward by decreasing the powers of ten every two seconds. 　　After a while the picnic scene is displayed again, but it doesn't stop there. The view returns to the regular speed and goes into the negative powers; ten to the negative first meter, ten to the negative second meter, and so on. The viewer is zoomed into the man's hand, and ends up zooming into a single proton in an atom.

旧盒子

本片用极其简朴的线条描绘了一个奇幻而又夹杂着黑色幽默的故事。 　　圣诞节前夕，一位拾荒老人在垃圾池边上捡到一个盒子，捡回后经过自己的精心打扮，幻想着节日到来之际自己所需要的礼物。而不幸的是，天气越来越寒冷，老人不得不躲进盒子里御寒。最终，星星进入了盒子里，带走了老人的灵魂。本片充满盎然童心、以无限好奇观察着这彷如万花筒般的世界，而老人最终在盒子中逝世，无疑又给人淡淡的忧伤。

Like many other computer graphics pioneers, this film suggests roots in psychedelics and spiritual quests as much as engineering and mathematics. Preserved by the Academy Film Archive in 2007.

本短片根据希腊神话中西绪福斯（Sisyphus）的故事改编，获1976年奥斯卡最佳动画短片提名。 　　风华之王艾奥罗斯（Aeolus）的儿子西绪福斯以狡诈机智闻名于世，曾在位于两国之间的狭窄地带创建了科林斯城（Corinth），囤积了大量财富。宙斯（Zeus）拐走了河神阿索波斯（Asopus）之女埃癸娜（Aegina）后，西绪福斯为了自己的利益，向阿索波斯告发了埃癸娜的藏身处，宙斯异常恼怒，派死神塔那托斯（Thanatus）拿下西绪福斯，但塔那托斯反被西绪福斯戴上了沉重的镣铐，人间再没人死亡，直到战神阿瑞斯（Ares）出面，塔那托斯才把西绪福斯带到冥界，但西绪福斯又设巧计重回人间。西绪福斯的灵魂终被塔那托斯摄取，其后他接受了严酷的惩罚：每天必须用尽全力将巨大的石头推上陡峭的高山，快到山峰时，石头会自动从他手中滑落，他要再来一次，周而复始，他要重复这种劳动。但本短片从另一视角新编了该神话故事。

鹭与鹤

        本动画片根据俄罗斯民间传说故事改编，幽默的动画将恋爱的精髓说尽。 　　鹭向鹤求婚，鹤眼里只见他的缺点，一口回绝，鹭转身刚走，鹤便觉得他的缺点未尝不是优点，跑去找鹭，说自己有心嫁他，这回是鹭端起架子，说自己改变了注意，鹤气得扭头就走，鹭想了一会，赶紧去追，可是鹤理都不理。雨天让鹤觉得和鹭一起生活会好过一个人孤零零地过日子，再去找鹭，鹭又是一副拒绝的表情……就这样，鹭和鹤在嫁娶问题上反反复复，一会好得恨不得一辈子都不分开片刻，一会又想对方迅速在自己眼前消失。

诗人的生涯

深夜，青年的母亲在纺车前异常疲惫地纺线，因一直无法为工人争取到应有的权利而精疲力竭的他则在一旁昏睡。清晨，老婆婆来取纺好的棉线时，青年生出一种奇怪的感觉，他不知母亲已在他熟睡之时被纺进了棉线；而看到老婆婆售卖用这些棉线织成的毛衣时，他再生奇怪的感觉。后来，因为无人有钱购买，这件毛衣被老婆婆送去了当铺。 　　寒冬来临，穷人被蒸发进空中的梦想、灵魂和希望化为雪花，无休无止地飘落下来，令以前高高在上的资本家渐渐变得渺小可怜。而那件织进青年母亲灵魂的毛衣被寻觅温暖处所的老鼠偶尔咬破变成了鲜红的毛衣后，飘落在青年身上温暖了他，苏醒过来时，他突然意识到自己是一个诗人，也看清了工作的方向和意义。 ©豆瓣
