动漫介绍
実戦経験に乏しいオートボットの一部隊であるオプティマス部隊が、オールスパークを発見したことをきっかけに前の大戦の生き残りであるディセプティコンの精鋭達と対峙していくストーリーとなっている。きっかけとなる最初の戦闘の後、ディセプティコンのボスであるメガトロンとオプティマス部隊は見知らぬ惑星（地球）へと墜落し、舞台は宇宙から地球へと移される。
物語は連続性を持たせながら小エピソードが続く構成で、それぞれのシーズンの終盤に2つの陣営による総力戦が起こるようになっている。
